OH MY GOODNESS!!! How is it that I can let so much time pass without blogging??!??!! This was originally my big fear about having a blog in the first place — trying to fit it into my already crazy schedule. Well . . . thank heavens for Doug. He has been Mr. Main Blogger for the past couple of months. Now I've got some major catchin' up to do. I couldn't just let these images go blogless.
SO . . . here are images from a wedding Doug and I shot (together – yay!). It was a FABULOUS wedding, and it was very difficult for me to narrow down images to blog. I still have quite a few. I hope you enjoy them.
First let me say that I absolutely adore Andrea & Nic. I had the opportunity to get to know them a little bit through two different engagement shoots, which were so much fun. They are truly the nicest people you'd ever meet. So genuine and intelligent. They know how to live life to the absolute fullest. I'm just waiting to hear that they're off climbing Mt. Everest or doing Ironman Hawaii — always up to some fabulous challenge. Quite incredible and inspiring people.
Back to their big day: Everyone got ready at
The Intercontinental on the Plaza. I was so impressed with how relaxed and calm everyone was. Wow, it makes such a difference.
They finished getting ready at the church before the ceremony, which took place at
Second Presbyterian Church in Crestwood — what a pretty church! And such a beautiful day.
Doug took this picture of Nic & his Dad. I LOVE the symmetry.
Andrea looked absolutely STUNNING in her gown. So so elegant.
I love the motion in this shot.
Can you spot Doug?
After their fake departure, we got to spend some time in the church courtyard. Got some nice stuff, but this one tells it all. Love love love.
I love quirky shots like this. So Ma & Pa. Fun.
We got a ton of these shots — I practically followed them to the hotel. At one point a dog ran out to chase the carriage. We thought it was going to get smashed by a car. Turns out, the dog was fine, the horse remained unfazed and the newlyweds arrived at the reception on time.
Doug's reception details. Amazing.
There they are enjoying each other again. It was an amazing night.
Thank you, Andrea & Nic, for inviting us to participate in your fabulous day. I can't wait to hear about your next adventure!!
