Oh, heck! I had this blog waiting in the wings for when the issue came out . . . a month ago! Well, here it is. You probably have about a day to check out the HERLIFE March issue either online or on location (in your doctor's office, hair salon, local roasterie), before the April issue is released. (I'll blog about that then. I promise.)
Anyway — what a fun issue! Philip did another great job with the March cover, featuring Petra Boerigter, wife of former Chief's player Marc Boerigter.
We also shot the Trendsetter section, which happens to be one of my favorites to date. We were SO fortunate to shoot in The Darling Room, a lovely salon in the Crossroads with uber-cool stylists. What a cool place! AND we had super cool models Danni Boatwright and Joni Harbeck from Exposure. Absolutely gorgeous, both of them. The clothing and accessories came from two boutiques: Savvy & Posh, both in Parkville. Here are some of my favorite images from the shoot:
