Okay. I say this every month, but I really mean it — this must be my favorite shoot. This month for HERLIFE Magazine, I got to shoot a couple of super cute models for a very cool local boutique at a fun location. We shot at Shawnee Mission Park, on the Beach. If you haven't been there, you should go this summer. It's fun. The boutique is Sitzmark, which has been around for a very long time. You know they sell ski stuff. Did you know they have a fabulous women's boutique? Jen and Melissa, the owner's daughters, were so great to work with — they came to the shoot and helped manage all the clothing & accessories. They were awesome! (I still need to get over there and spend my birthday money!!!) Our models were Lukas & Christine. They looked hot together. Look for yourself.
We shot these at the end of February. I thought for sure we would all freeze to death. But we totally lucked out — it was in the 50's and sunny. Christine got a little chilly, especially when she went into the water! (That was her idea.) What a trooper. I hope she didn't suffer any lingering effects from the cold. Sorry, Christine! You rock!
