Kristina & Matt : Engagement
Kristina, Matt and I had a super time during their engagement session. We started in the West Bottoms near the Hobbs Building, which houses the ever fabulous Feasts of Fancy — always a great starting point. Great red doors, great graffiti, great texture.
The weather was PERFECT — sunshine with cool temps. It felt so good. I love finding little grassy & wooded areas in the Bottoms. It can be a little frightening stepping through it, though.
Everyone keeps asking me, "Where'd you get the chair?" We actually found it, sitting right next to the tracks. I think the bottom is falling out and it's most likely laden with GERMS, but it was cool.
I love my Lens Baby. I usually pull it out once during an engagement shoot — great mood.
Then we were off to the Nelson, which has amazing light in the evening. This is one of my favorite moments of the evening — I think Kristina caught Matt completely off guard. That always makes for great expressions.
We ended our shoot next to the Bloch Building, which glows in the dark. So cool. I love that building, inside & out.
Thanks, Guys! I can't wait to shoot your wedding this weekend. If the weather stays like this, Terrace on Grand will be quite enjoyable.
