Location Scouting

Philip and I were so excited to shoot a professional bike team, and we thought it would be fun to take them to the West Bottoms for a little grit.  If you check out all the pro team web sites (even Lance’s), you won’t see fun pictures of the team members.  You’ll see a lot of images from races (important, true), but then you’ll find standard line-em-up-and-shoot-em headshots.  BOOOORRRRRRING.

All that said, I don’t have any of the team pictures to show you at the moment — I just have a couple of things I shot while scouting the location for the shoot.  I thought they were fun.  If you’ve never been to the West Bottoms, you should go tour the back alleys (although the West Bottoms is essentially one big back alley) and check out all the great walls, doors and bridges.  Check it out:
