If they look happy, it’s because they clearly are!  These two have a couple of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen — it’s infectious!  I’m excited to photograph their wedding in September.  Jenny & Matt are a lot of fun, and I have a feeling their wedding event is going to reflect them to a “T” — fun, cool,  young and filled with smiles and love.  Can’t wait!

They went to The Better Cheddar on their first date, so it was fitting to get some shots there for their engagement session.  My favorite images were around the corner at O’Dowd’s.  When I got out of my car before the shoot, I saw the Jameson mirror and went for a self-portrait (ala Vivian Maier), though wasn’t completely successful.  (I guess I really needed a medium format camera to leave my face unobscured.  Anyway, I went for a reflection shot with them in the mirror and loved it.  They were great sports (no pun intended) at the Nelson — it was super hot, of course, so we shot fast.  They’re just such a fun-loving couple, so it was a really enjoyable shoot.  The date on the football — you guessed it:  it’s their upcoming wedding date.
